Keeping your AirCheck G2 updated ensures optimal performance and access to the latest features. To perform a software update, your unit must have an active AllyCare support contract.
Important: To avoid issues caused by power loss during the update, connect your AirCheck G2 to the AC adapter for a stable power supply.

Three Ways to Update AirCheck G2 Software
1. Automatic Updates
To update directly from your AirCheck G2:
- Ensure your device is running version 3.0 or later and is claimed in Link-Live.
- Connect the AirCheck G2 to an active Ethernet port (Wi-Fi will not work).
- From the HOME screen, tap Settings (gear icon).
- Tap Link-Live.
- Tap Check for Software Update.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the update.
USB Drive
To update the software from a USB drive:
- Download the software.
- Copy the .ACFX file to the root of a USB drive and plug into the AirCheck G2. Note: You might need to unzip the file to obtain the .ACFX file.
- Power off the unit.
- Power the unit back on and as it starts, the firmware update should begin automatically.
- Follow the on-screen prompts

How to Update AirCheck G3 Software Using Manager Software
Updating your AirCheck G3 software from a local PC or laptop is simple with the AirCheck G2 Manager Software. Before you begin, make sure your computer meets the compatible Windows version requirements. For details, see:

Step 1: Download the Manager Software
- Download the latest version of the AirCheck G2 Manager Software.
- If the file is compressed, unzip it to access the .ACFX file required for the update.
Step 2: Connect Your AirCheck G3
Important: Plug the micro-USB cable into the middle port on the right side of the AirCheck G3. Other USB ports will not work for this process.
Use a micro-USB cable to connect your AirCheck G3 to your computer.

3. Launch the AirCheck G2 manager software and click Device Info on the left.
4. Click Update AirCheck G2 Firmware.
5. Browse for the .ACFX file and follow the on-screen directions.
