Remote Testing
NetAlly’s Test Accessory is a pocket-sized iPerf tool that allows you to measure throughput against any part of your network. The iPerf test offers insights into TCP or UDP throughput, packet loss, and even jitter. Target with command line iPerf tests or with the handy iPerf app on NetAlly’s testers and analyzers (CyberScope™, EtherScope® nXG, AirCheck™G3, and LinkRunner® 10G.
The Test Accessory removes the hassle of having to configure your own iPerf server. Simply plug the iPerf ethernet testing tool into any ethernet port within your network, and it’s ready to go!
NetAlly’s Test Accessory was designed to operate continuously; just plug it into any ethernet port with PoE and it stays powered up.. Whenever you need to run a test, the iPerf tool will wake up automatically, providing 24/7 availability.
Assessing performance at a remote site can often become complex, especially without local assistance. But not anymore! Simply plug in a Test Accessory at any of your remote locations and run an iPerf test. Even if the remote sites operate on a different subnet, you will still be able to effectively measure your throughput against them.
