Issue Overview
Problem:
Users are unable to access Link-Live through AutoTest, even though Ping, TCP, and HTTP tests to Link-Live succeed.
Root Cause:
This issue is typically caused by Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) performed by firewalls. DPI acts as a man-in-the-middle proxy, intercepting and decrypting HTTPS traffic to inspect packet contents. While this enhances security, it can interfere with legitimate encrypted communications—such as those used by Link-Live.
Resolution Steps
To restore full access to Link-Live:
Whitelist Required URLs
Refer to the Web Proxy Support & White-Listing documentation for a complete list of URLs that must be exempted from inspection.
Bypass DPI for Link-Live.com
Configure your firewall to exclude Link-Live.com from DPI scanning.
