You can access the Test Accessory from it’s web interface by opening a web browser and inputting the IP address of the unit. You can acquire the IP address from Link-Live or discovering the Test Accessory from your main handheld tester. Additionally, you can locate the IP address from your DHCP server client list.
When viewing the web server interface, the status screen displays by default. The status screen displays the latest connection results from the Test Accessory. You can access settings and debug information from the top menu, as seen in the example below:

Step 1: Access the Test Accessory
To open the web interface:
- Launch a web browser.
- Enter the IP address of the Test Accessory.
How to Find the IP Address:
- From Link-Live
- By discovering the Test Accessory using your main handheld tester
- From your DHCP server client list
Step 2: Explore the Status Screen
When you log in, the Status Screen displays by default. This screen shows the latest connection results from the Test Accessory.
Use the top menu to access Settings and Debug Information.
Settings Menu
IP Configuration
- Configure a static IP address.
- Click Apply Changes to save your settings.
Proxy Configuration
- Set up proxy server settings.
- For Automatic or Manual proxy, enter:
- Proxy Address
- Port
- Username
- Password
- Click Apply Changes to confirm.
Debug Information
Log Files
- Click Download Log Files to retrieve logs.
Log Level
- Adjust the log level threshold for event logging.
- Use the drop-down menu to select a new setting.
- Click Default Log Level to reset to WARN.
Nearest Switch Test
- Click Nearest Switch Test to identify the closest switch and view its characteristics.
Language Settings
- Select Language from the menu and choose your preferred language from the drop-down list.
